Regulations

There are no regulations for sport diving in the UK although membership of a diving organisation, for example the British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) is strongly recommended. Any diving activity which is for hire or reward or for commercial interest is deemed ‘at-work’ and fully regulated. Details of such regulations may be obtained from the HSE (www.HSE.gov.uk).
